Linda Hajdukiewicz - Lino Carving

Lino carving uses carved blocks of lino, but no prints are produced, the artwork is the block. Once carved, a block is sanded and primed and acrylic paint is laid on in layers. Finally, a varnish coating is applied to seal the image, as I don't show these under glass.
An example of one of the small lino carvings mounted on a wooden 'beach hut' style block is shown here. A loop of sailing rope completes the rustic look!
